AION 2 1400 Gear Score Guide

Quick Answer

Replace weak equipped pieces and preview upgrades against the actual entry counter. Independent client records list Conquest Tier 2 at level 45 and item level 1400; skill or board progress is not a verified direct item-level gain.

To work toward 1400 gear score, inspect the item-level counter used by the content's entry panel, replace weak equipped pieces and apply upgrades only when the preview changes that counter. MetaBot's Global client records list Conquest Tier 2 at character level 45 and item level 1400. This is an independently parsed entry rule, not proof that every Tier 2 activity is live or that reaching the number guarantees a clear.

Do not assume that Daevanion nodes or skill upgrades directly raise item level. They can improve combat readiness; this review did not verify an item-level formula that converts those upgrades into gear score. Separate the entry-counter objective from the wider build objective.

Use the level 45 catch-up route for missing systems, enhancement priorities for material decisions, and combat-power checks for performance beyond the entry number.

Confirm what 1400 means on your screen

Open the intended activity first. Record its character-level requirement, item-level requirement, quest prerequisites and difficulty. Then open the equipment screen and record the value that the entry panel actually uses. Search terms such as Gear Score, Gear Power and Item Level are often mixed together, so follow the label in your own client rather than treating them as a verified common formula.

A higher Combat Power value alone is not proof that the 1400 entry counter rose. Upgrade one system at a time and compare the before-and-after values. If the counter stays unchanged, keep the upgrade in the performance plan rather than count it toward the access target.

Replace the weakest equipped slots

Inspect each slot and note its current item level, useful stats and replacement options. Prioritize an accessible improvement that changes the entry counter without making the class less useful. A random high number can be a poor practical replacement if you lose the stats or function needed for your role.

Check rewards from unfinished quests and exploration before committing to repeated dungeon claims. These objectives can also provide non-equipment progress; count only the actual equipment improvement toward the entry counter. A reward already claimed cannot be budgeted again as a repeatable source.

Preview enhancements before spending

Choose an item you expect to keep and read the enhancement result, cost, success rate and failure result. Compare its item-level gain with the cost of obtaining a replacement. The independent enhancement calculator can illustrate costs for a selected item, but its expected total is a calculation rather than a guaranteed budget.

Belt and amulet development are useful candidates to inspect, not universally proven first purchases. Check their current recipes and reward sources. Do not assume every upgrade to +10 succeeds, every failed attempt is harmless or a later replacement returns all invested materials.

Keep enough currency and materials for the most important planned upgrade. An expensive temporary item can delay a stronger replacement without closing much of the item-level gap.

Spend dungeon rewards on a named target

Open the accessible difficulty's reward preview. Identify the slots that can improve, any first-clear reward and the separate Energy or entry cost. Choose a claim because it advances one of those targets, rather than because a guide calls the activity universally best.

If the useful gear pool is too narrow or the run cannot be cleared reliably, compare another accessible reward source. Reaching 1400 should not depend on a promised number of runs or hours; loot and prior completion differ between characters.

Use Odyle Energy reward priorities to budget competing claims. Skill investment and Daevanion routing still matter for the fight, but should be tracked separately unless your actual counter shows an effect.

Before entering at 1400

Reopen the activity after your upgrade and confirm that it accepts the current counter. Check the full entry requirement, current attempts and reward budget. Prepare the class loadout and encounter mechanics before joining a party.

Player-created groups can set higher requirements than the formal entry gate. Their preference is not a new universal game rule. If your entry counter reaches 1400 but the fight remains difficult, investigate survival, useful stats, skill availability and role execution instead of assuming another arbitrary score will solve every failure.
